~ researchIT CT offers free online resources as a service of the CT State Library. Here you will find journal, magazine, and newspaper articles for Connecticut public, K12, and academic libraries and their users. They also offer a collection of downloadable eAudios and eBooks for
Connecticut residents with valid CT public library card numbers.
~ Consumer Reports is an independent, nonprofit organization that works side by side with consumers to create a fairer, safer, and healthier world. You can access all their product reviews from home with your library card.
~ Jonathan Trumbull Library announces a partnership with Driving-Tests.org, a company dedicated to driver safety and education, to offer free Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) practice tests to library patrons. The practice tests are based on the state’s actual DMV materials. Driving-Tests.org is the only site of its kind to provide accessibility tools that let users hear selections read aloud, convert them to MP3, translate pages into other languages, magnify text, and mask portions of the screen for greater visibility on the driving practice tests.
