Equinox and the Arts

Calling All Artists!

The Friends of Jonathan Trumbull Library are proud to again sponsor an art show to celebrate the arrival of spring and to showcase local artists.

Equinox and the Arts XXV will be held from March 21 through April 16, 2020 at JTL.

Adult artwork accepted in all mediums, oils, acrylics, watercolor, pastel, pen and ink, pencil, sculpture, and photography. Work must be framed (matted photographs will be accepted), and suitable for display. A limit of one entry per artist will be accepted at the discretion of the committee. If possible, please provide an easel or display stand.

Display Dates:   March 21– April 16.
All accepted work will be on display following the reception, during regular library hours. Artists must pick up their work on Saturday, April 18, between 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

All work must be brought to the library and registration forms completed on Wednesday-March 11, Thursday-March 12, or Saturday- March 14 during regular library hours. No work accepted after March 14.  Jonathan Trumbull Library and the Friends of Jonathan Trumbull Library will not be responsible for submitted artwork and there will be no direct sales during this show.

The reception has been canceled. We hope to be able to reschedule it for a later time.

*Submit your work to be displayed downstairs in the Young People’s Library. Bring a piece of art that you are proud of and display it for your friends to see! Bring your art to us the week of March 9- March 14 and we will display it until mid-April. Kids and teens of all ages may participate.*
