Who are the Friends and what do they do?
The Friends of Jonathan Trumbull Library are residents of Lebanon and surrounding towns that support our library through volunteering and fundraising efforts. The Friends meet on a quarterly basis, with volunteering opportunities available throughout the year.
What is the Friends’ goal?
Our goal is to keep our library a vibrant community center for all to enjoy. We do this by supporting the funding of:
Library passes to local museums
Prizes for summer reading programs
Materials for arts and crafts programs
Honoraria for program presenters
Purchasing furniture and other items for the library
