From the Fool to the World: A Writing Journey through the Major Arcana
Join us on the fourth Thursday of the month as we use the 22 archetypes of the Major Arcana as prompts for our creative expression!
The Major Arcana traces the path of the Fool's journey as they encounter different aspects of Self along the way. Using a variety of visuals from different decks and bespoke writing prompts, we'll craft a container to encourage each other's creative work (sharing always optional!) and hold the journey together.

Bring your sewing machine and join Dawn the Stitching Coach to sew a zippered pouch! We will follow this pattern. Patrons must bring a sewing machine in working order, with denim needle, denim thread, and a zipper foot.

Fire Cider Workshop *registration required
Back by popular demand: fire cider, hot and spicy, just in time for Valentine's Day!
Fire cider is a folk remedy with a long tradition of use in strengthening the immune system, using a sweet-spicy-tangy base of apple cider vinegar, garlic, onion, ginger, horseradish, hot peppers, and honey, and endless variations.
JTL will provide the basic ingredients.
Participants: please bring one or two wide-mouth 32-oz. Mason jars, a cutting board, and a good chopping knife (as well as anything from your garden or pantry that you'd like to throw in).
Space is limited to 20 participants, and pre-registration is required; please call or stop by the library to sign up.
