Adventurers ages 12-18 must come prepared with completed character sheet, ready for fast-paced and focused game play. Some DND campaign experience required.

Join our new all-purpose fiber arts group to share ideas, patterns, supplies and camaraderie with other local enthusiasts! This is a new group intended for older teens and adults. Please bring your current project or supplies to work and we’ll provide a cozy space to share and chat.
This group will meet on the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month starting May 15th.

From the Fool to the World: A Writing Journey through the Major Arcana
Join us on the fourth Thursday of the month as we use the 22 archetypes of the Major Arcana as prompts for our creative expression!
The Major Arcana traces the path of the Fool's journey as they encounter different aspects of Self along the way. Using a variety of visuals from different decks and bespoke writing prompts, we'll craft a container to encourage each other's creative work (sharing always optional!) and hold the journey together.
This will be a hybrid in-person/Zoom program:

Slow down and cool off with old fashioned letter writing. We'll provide art supplies, stationary, envelopes, and stamps for you to write a letter to a family member, friend, or even your future self.

Chalk the Walk at 4 o'clock
Join Miss Jeannie to turn the sidewalk around the library into a giant coloring book.
Bring water, beach blankets or chairs, and a snack.
Beaded Star Keychain & Jewelry
Use pony beads to put together a colorful chunky star that can become a charming key chain or funky jewelry. Maybe you'll have time to bead a bracelet too.
Drop in between 4-5pm.
This program is geared toward teens, tweens, and young adults, but people of all ages are welcome!

Crochet a Hair Scrunchie (register)
Learn to Crochet your very Own Hair Scrunchie to take home. We will provide the materials (furry yarn in various colors, colorful elastic band to stitch around, crochet hook and instruction sheet.) Gwen will teach patrons of all ages the simple repeating double stitch around an elastic resulting in a beautiful item you can wear on your ponytail or bun or as an ornament on your wrist or ankle.
Age range: 8 to 108: Multi-generational

Wildflower Walk with The Last Green Valley
Join representatives from The Last Green Valley and Jonathan Trumbull Library for a walk along the Lebanon Town Green (green) trail with a slow pace for time to identify and discuss wildflowers in bloom. The stroll will be along a level dry path; primarily along West side of the green. A mile long, the green is lined by historic buildings and farms. The green is one of the largest in the nation and the only one still partially used for agriculture (hay production).
Parking at Jonathan Trumbull Library or Lebanon Community Center. We will meet in front of library to start walk at 6PM.

Lebanon Recreation Department theater workshop performance, directed by Carol Macy, featuring 32 homeschoolers ages 8-17. An imagined first rehearsal of A Midsummer Night’s Dream with Will Shakespeare as director.
