Who among you shall free realms from the tyrannical rule of a dragon? To fight for peoples of a fantastical, magical world, and become their champions? Do you hear the call to be an adventurer? In the amazing worlds of Dungeons and Dragons, your imagination is your greatest weapon!

Adventurers ages 12-18 must come prepared with completed character sheet, ready for fast-paced and focused game play. Some DND campaign experience required.

Join us on the fourth Thursday of the month as we use the 22 archetypes of the Major Arcana as prompts for our creative expression! 
 
The Major Arcana traces the path of the Fool's journey as they encounter different aspects of Self along the way. Using a variety of visuals from different decks and bespoke writing prompts, we'll craft a container to encourage each other's creative work (sharing always optional!) and hold the journey together.

Calling all knitters, crocheters, felters, and fiber enthusiasts!

Join our new all-purpose fiber arts group to share ideas, patterns, supplies and camaraderie with other local enthusiasts! This is a new group intended for older teens and adults. Please bring your current project or supplies to work and we’ll provide a cozy space to share and chat.

This group will meet on the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month starting May 15th.

Learn to Crochet your very Own Hair Scrunchie to take home. We will provide the materials (furry yarn in various colors, colorful elastic band to stitch around, crochet hook and instruction sheet.) Gwen will teach patrons of all ages the simple repeating double stitch around an elastic resulting in a beautiful item you can wear on your ponytail or bun or as an ornament on your wrist or ankle.

Age range: 8 to 108: Multi-generational

Come and learn with Pam and Bill and their ambassador animals, Brandi and Brigitte, all about beloved backyard wildlife, the opossum!

Learn about wildlife rehabilitation and the role of rehabbers as well as information about opossums. You can pet the opossums, too!

Come learn Blackletter Calligraphy which is also known as the Gothic style! It is a classic, dramatic, lettering style and a great way to introduce yourself to the broad edge nib. Calligrapher, Debby Reelitz, will teach you the basics, provide you with guidelines and lettering samples you can trace, and guide you through a project.

Debby Reelitz’s 5th grade teacher introduced her to calligraphy and she loves to share her passion for handwritten letters with young people. In school, children are taught the practical side of the alphabet with spelling and writing sentences and taking tests. Debby loves to help young people discover the joy in being creative with those oh-so-useful-26-symbols. Debby lives in North Granby, Connecticut.
